I am a Principal Lecturer and Honors Faculty Fellow at Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University. Trained as an evolutionary biologist, I have worked on vertebrates as diverse as desert fishes, raptors, mammalian carnivores, fossil hominids, and modern humans. Nowadays, I am also an historian who writes on anti-evolutionism, Victorian science & culture, and the Catholic anatomist, St George Jackson Mivart. I also blog.
